Part 26 That letter fell off Maan's hand, he felt soo helpless at that moment Pinky couldn't see him like that, Maan come fast, Romeo, you get the car..we are going to Bangalore.. Scene changes The car was parked on the side of the road and Maan and Kidnapper were seated opposite to each other on the rock at some city outskirts with minimum vegetation. Kidnapper: There are no usual twists in your life yaar.. Maan: Try to understand me...I have to stop that marriage...If you want I will come back..do whatever you want with me Kidnapper laughed at him..he got up and took a few steps towards Maan Maan: This is life and death problem for me Kidnapper: Hey...why are you so tensed? She was roaming with u recently... Yesterday she got engaged with Dev Now she is marrying someone else In her life..I feel husband is new but not men.. Maan burst with anger...he furiously got up and charged the kidnapper...the single blow he gave on the jaw was enough to make the kidnapper blackout...he almost fell on the ground Maan: one more word against geet and Kidnapper cut him off, Is she that close to u?? The kicks and punches continued...blood was dripping from both their faces...Kidnapper took the gun out...but during the fight, Maan managed to keep it away from his face and body...and finally, in that struggle, that gun fell off at a distance... Kidnapper tried to take it first but Maan engaged him in the fight...but when a sudden blow hit Kidnapper's stomach, he was thrown near that weapon...he was about to pick it up when Maan tapped his back and snatched it... Kidnapper: I made a mistake..I should have killed you then and there.. Maan: Your bad luck...shall I kill u now? Kidnapper: He told me that you are very cunning...that Khanna told me Maan: Khanna?...who is this Khanna? Kidnapper: Your lover Geet's father...he ordered me to kidnap you Maan was confused, Geet ke papa ka naam Mohinder Handa hai [Geet's dad's name is Mohinder Handa ] Kidnapper: Mohinder HANDA?? Maan: Yes Kidnapper: Is it not Khanna? Maan: NOO Kidnapper: Isn't ur lover, Mahendra Khanna's daughter? Maan: NOO...kab se toh bol raha hoon [I am trying to tell that since long ago] Kidnapper: Isn't it you who planned to elope with Khanna's daughter? Maan: Don't irritate me now asking that same bloody question...I will fire..I dont even know how to shoot...kahi pe bhi maar dunga tumhe... [I will shoot anywhere] Kidnapper's condition worsened, he desperately says, In my 15yrs career never once it happened like this...he was n the verge of breaking down..he wanted his answers, if you are not him then who is that man? and by the way who the hell are you? Maan: I AM MAAN Kidnapper: Maan...he turned away from him and walked a while, he seemed to relieve his stress, but came back to him to tap Maan's shoulder, he forwarded his hand asking for a handshake, by the way, I am John...with a big smile on his face. They both shook hands and turned away from each other. Maan was unable to understand what was happening, oye...isn't it u who dragged me into this confusion?? how am I connected to all this?? and why the hell did u drag me into this mess?? Kidnapper: Relax relax, now you tell me why the hell were you there in that car? AP03K 999? huh? Maan: Geet ki shaadi rokna tha...dobara math puchna.. [I wanted to stop Geet's wedding, don't ask again] both their minds were over-working... Kidnapper: Hey Maan...tell me one thing finally..where did I go wrong?? Kidnapper had tears in his eyes while asking this Scene changes[FLASHBACK] On the way to Bangalore, the car broke down...Pinky and Romeo were examining the car whereas Maan was a bit lost in his thoughts... Pinky: I think we can't do it Romeo Maan: How long will it take? Pinky: I am trying to fix it yaar Just then a car was about to pass them, Maan went ahead to stop the car... stop...please stop and that vehicle stopped, Maan asked them, I need to go to Bangalore Person in the car: Ok..get in...we are also going to bangalore Maan turned to talk to his friends, yaar i am leaving...you come with the car Pinky: Ya ya go soon As the car zoomed away the number plate of the car was shown to be AP03K 999 That person in the car took a small break in the dabha nearby the highway when Kidnapper saw Maan beside the car...the Kidnapper mistook the person and kidnapped Maan... [this is the starting scene...check prologue] Scene changes Maan was sitting on the bonnet of the sumo with gun tapping his head. The kidnapper was roaming aimlessly, damn it!! Khanna will kill me if he comes to know this Maan: If Geet marries...then I myself will kill u Suddenly the kidnapper's mobile started ringing...as soon as he saw who was calling his face lost all its color...he kept the mobile beside Maan on the bonnet and took a few steps back, Khanna is calling Maan picked it up and the Kidnapper was shocked when he did that...he was rooted to the spot. Maan: oye Khanna...on the line... Maan: Shut up man..just shut ur mouth Khanna...on the line... Maan: Who am I? Who the hell are you? Khanna...on the line...
Maan: I don't care whoever u may be Khanna...on the line...
Maan: We don't have any connection...but if the matter gets worse in my case then I will surely come to slit ur neck Khanna...on the line... Maan: By the way, I killed John...with this he ended the call Kidnapper coughed hard at the last lines of Maan, why did u tell him like that? Maan: Nobody can kill a dead man right? that's why I told him like that Kidnapper was elated...he kissed maan's hand n took his mobile, arey haan...thank you...thank you soo much saale saab [Brother-in-law] Maan: Saale saab?? who is saala to u? he jumped from the car to hold kidnapper's neck Kidnapper: Arey...arey...you saved your sister's husband's life saale saab... Maan was irritated to the core, where are we now? Whats going on? I am terribly confused Jijaji... [beother-in-law] Kidnapper: Hey...where is the marriage? Maan: Bangalore TO BE CONTINUED

Part 25 There was knock on the door early in the morning, Maan opened the door to see Sam... She had all the signs of being married, he had an awkward smile seeing that He just gave her space to enter the house, they both sat in adjacent sofas with Savitri's picture in the middle... Sam: I came to Hyderabad just yesterday came to know about aunty Maan: hmmm how are you? Sam - I am fine you? He showed his thumps up indicating he too is good with a small smile on his face, which also showed all the grief he was going through There was an uneasy silence for a long time between them Sam: Shall I take a leave? They both stood up to leave, after taking a few steps Sam turned to say something, Maan...I wanted to talk to u for sometime now... I had to go to chennai after my marriage I thought of calling u But I dont know...somehow Maan: Forget about all that Sam: My parents never approved you but still...I tried, they got a reason that day to reject you Maan immediately cut that, but you are happy now, right? Sam: That's not... Again he interrupted, you are u r happy na? She nodded her head Maan: That's what matters Sam: hmmm we met as friends... I want our friendship to last forever Maan: It will Sam: Friends? Sam wanted a handshake...Maan was happy to do that...they shook hands,coffee? Sam immediately took away her hand...you will make coffee? no thanks... Maan smiled Sam: If u allow me to prepare...I'll have it Maan: Hmmm..okay theres kitchen..everything is.. Sam: I will manage..dont bother..freshen up n come..I'll make superb coffee for u She started preparing coffee when the door bell rang..she opened it to see an unfamiliar face It was Geet She saw Sam and recognized her instantly Sam: Yes It was a big blow to her..seeing Sam with all the signs of marriage...she went in a state of shock for a while Geet: Sorry..wrong address I think Sam: Its ok She very hurriedly left the house...in the process she left her bracelet stuck to a plant..she was not in a state to think about it...she felt like a fool coming there On the whole way back to her hotel she cried...a lott... She immediately took a bus back to Bangalore On the way back she saw a missed call from Pinky...she e-mailed her... As soon as she entered her house... Geet's mom [Rano]: Dekhiye geet is back She got up to bring Geet to sit with them A husband and a wife who came to meet were talking about her Wife: the girl looks better in person than in photo..isnt it? Geet's mom [Rano]: Ravi uncle and Anu aunty..sit beta Geet: Namaste Husband: This is my son's photo beta...if u say yes..we'll take u right away... Wife: Your parents will come to your marriage as guests..see the photo once Geet: No need Auntyji..if my parents like him..its ok with me i'll take a leave now.. Mohinder sensed something wrong has happened he observed that Geet wasnt reacting as she used to...he immediately went to see Geet She was unpacking her luggage...her back was facing him Mohinder: Geet..you seem to be very happy...whats the matter dear? Tears started rolling and she turned to face her dad Mohinder: Did u meet Maan? Geet: Hmmm Mohinder: What happened? Geet: Maan's married Mohinder was shocked a bit n felt sorry for his daughter All he could do was hug her tight ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scene changes Chocolate started barking all of a sudden Maan: Chocolate...he came out to see what was the matter what are u doing here? He saw chocolate had something in his mouth, Chocolate...you are eating all stupid stuff these days... what is it?? he tried to snatch it from it but the dog wasnt leaving it After much trying he took that thing out of its mouth, it was geet's bracelet...he indeed recognised it in a second...he thought how come this bracelet is here? He immediately went to call Pinky, Pinky..Where is Geet? Pinky: I am going to kick both of u like hell...idiots.. she came to Hyderabad and went away without meeting me and she did come to your home 2 days back... she mailed me where were you duffer?? Maan: Where is she now? Pinky: Where else? she would have gone back to Bangalore Maan: What?? Now he remembered asking Sam who was on the door while he came to have his coffee Maan - Who was on the door? Sam - Don't know...some wrong address Instantly he cursed himself, Pinky...where r u now? Pinky: Home, why? He rushed to meet her On the way, he tried calling geet's landline, but none picked up. He was getting frustrated to the core He drove at a very high speed to reach Pinky. Some people wanted a lift.
These were the same people who were kicked nicely by Geet. He took a reverse gear, stopped the car beside them and came out, they all surrounded the car pleading him to give a lift. One of them admired the car's inner look and took the driver's seat to look at it. Maan was in a very very bad mood Guy 1: Brother we had a flat tyre...we are trying to change it but it's not happening Maan: Give me that rod Guy 2: We tried already Guy 1: Do you have the experience of changing tyres bro?? Maan took the rod and hit both of them terribly, why are you showing your back and running away? where is the other one? One of them opened the car's door in pain Maan: why did you sit in the car?? huh?? He started hitting all of them without giving any gap as soon as they got a slight chance...they tried tried running away and maan was chasing them Guy 4: Take left They all took a left turn to see a dead end Guy 2: You bloody idiot...he was angry on him Meanwhile, Maan reached them and they all were terrified, he was moving forward to beat them up like hell Guy 3: Why are you hitting us? Maan: What did you comment about geet? Guy 1: Kaun? Maan: How many girls did you tease? Guy 4: Ye uss pagal ladki ka dost hai shayad [He is the friend of that mad girl, I think] Guy 2: Really!! she already gave us a good trashing that day... then why are you again beating us? Maan: That was her account this is my settlement... he again went up to beat them but couldn't, he threw away that rod
Everyone was confused Maan: Sorry guys...I did it in frustration as he proceeded to go, they all stopped him. They sat at a place to talk to him Guy 2: Why are you frustrated? Maan: There was a small misunderstanding... and she went off to Bangalore Guy 4: Cant you call and explain?? Maan: I did try Guy 3: Then? Maan: She didn't pick up Guy 3: Ohh Guy 1: pata nahi pagalpan ke daure mein abhi kis ko maar rahi hogi?? [I don't know whom she is hitting now, she is really mad] Maan: Oye...she is not like that Guy 1: Thik hai thik hai...you got a friend in Bangalore?? cant you call him up?? Maan: Call him?? Guy 2: Tell him to go to her home...simple Maan suddenly remembered that Yash was in Bangalore Maan: Thanks boss... he immediately called Yash Yash was opening his car's door when his phone rang... Yash: Hey Maan...You missing me?? Maan: Where are you now? Yash: If I tell...you might get depressed I m going to Bangkok in a month from here office work Maan: Just shut up and go to Geet's house immediately Yash: thik hai thik hai wait a while After half n hour or so...Yash was infront of Geet's house Maan always puts me in trouble I dont even know if this is her house He checked he house number and went inside but it was locked, he heard someone working in the garden, hello..come here, please As soon as he was visible to Yash, he asked, nobody home?? Gardener: No sir Yash: Where have they gone? Gardener: To attend a marriage Yash: Kiski? Gardener: Geet baby ki Yash: Geet ki?? Really?? Gardener: Yes sir Yash: Oh no.. Geet is getting married He immediately called Maan and Maan was eagerly waiting for his call Maan: Marriage?? He was shocked Meanwhile waiting for Maan, Pinky logged in to see if there were any mails, she noticed that Geet sent her 2 emails. She forgot to check one, as she read it she was stunned, she took a print out of it to show it to Maan She called him and cursed him for the delay in meeting her and yelled to come to a common point so that they could meet him as soon as possible, he sounded very depressed but she had to do it... On the way she even picked up Romeo After a while Maan: Pinky I reached where r u? She was a bit away from him, so she shouted, Hey Maan!! we are here They met and Pinky showed the paper, Geet's email Maan was still for a moment and started reading Hi Pinky, After Aunty's death, Maan was alone I came here to be with him, but after seeing Sam there... I realised I am alone..not him Meeting him and then parting And then meeting again and parting again Ab aur nahi hota... Don't know where this journey will lead to.. I'll never come to Hyderabad again Though I missed Maan in my life... I don't know..still I want only him... but I hope...he'll be happy with Sam Geet Maan was totally shattered
