Scene changes

At Maan's home

Onions were being deep fried by Arjun, adding sliced tomatoes to that, he was stirring it.

Maan: Who is this new cook?

Arjun: Who else would it be?

Maan: Jiju??!!! What were you earlier?? And now? They made u a cook? Soo sad, you are a son in law of this family and wipes his invisible fake tears, why did u tell them that you knew cooking?

Arjun: I showed all my talent when I got married, my worst luck, I got trapped

Maan: Got yourself committed this crime? and started laughing


Annie comes to the kitchen to get few spices. She asks Arjun, shall I cut the onions small?

Pointing a finger at Annie, Maan says, my sister respects u a lot nowadays

As her mother calls Annie, she takes a leave

Arjun: No dear cut it big

Annie: No small will be better


Arjun looks at stunned Mmaan and gives the this-is-her-so-called-respect look

Maan: Why did u ask then? You think there is no one for my brother-in-law in this house? I am there...Jiju forget about cooking..let's go to bar

Arjun gives a terrified look...bechara biwi ka gulam
[Wife slave]


Maan: scared?

Arjun resumes his cooking

Maan: What have they made u Jiju?? Lagta hai ab tumhara kuch nahi ho sakta...Anyways what's special today?
[What have they made u Jiju?? You have become a hopeless case now, Anyways what's special today?]

Brain fry, Savitri shouts from dining room



Suddenly Maan realizes that they were talking about the convo between them in that bakery, he was surprised for a second and gives a questioning look to Arjun, he nodes his head for a no and pointing his finger to Annie, he said, your sister told her


They move out of the kitchen and joined Savitri and Annie, seeing them enjoying a veg burger.


Giving a sympathetic look to Arjun, Maan says, mother-in-law is making you cook and she herself is enjoying?? Does this happen anywhere? This is not at good..ya..giving a side hug to Arjun


Mom: There is no use of polishing your Jiju with words, your sister mentioned only bheja fry, the rest of the story of YOU under the bench and all were told by your beloved Jiju.


Maan suddenly pushes Arjun away...but Arjun gives him a big smile in return.


Maan: How much did I trust u? did u tell everything?


He nodded his head for a yes


Maan whispered in his ear, do u mean everything?


Arjun: Couldn't avoid it yaar


Annie and Savitri exchange smiles


Maan was shocked and spoke out loud...did you tell going to Bangalore...getting drunk there... annie chocked her drink..dancing with Geet ...savitri behaved as if she has exopthalmous goiter with an open mouth..dancing in rain and all... all 3 exchanged looks


Arjun: I didn't tell them all this


Maan had the feeling oh thank god..!! But it was short lived


Arjun: But you said this now yaar, placing an arm over Maan's shoulder


Maan was literally caught, he desperately wanted to avoid this topic, he wiped off his confused expression and tried asking his mom


Maan: What's for lunch mom?


Mom: Maan who is this Geet??
